Football game and scanner

On Wed. Oct. 5th, Logan's football team played a game at the high school under the big lights. Grand Rapids played Grand Rapids. So the Thunderhawks split into two teams and one was the Hawks (Logan's) and one was the Thunder. They were pretty well matched. Logan's team lost, but they played pretty well, except they racked up too many penalties and lost a lot of yardage. One nice thing was that Logan's Auntie Nena and the girls, Abbie, Brooke and Sofie came for his game. It worked out well because A and B had early out at school, so they got done at 1 o'clock. It made a late night for them getting back home. Nena texted and said all 3 girls fell asleep on the way home. I think it made Logan feel pretty good that they made the trip to cheer him on. It was nice to see them all too. They are growing up so fast! Abbie is the one changing the most I think. I think their moving to a bigger town and living in town has made some difference.
Larry enjoys going to Logan's games too, which I think Logan likes that we show up.
I got my flip pal scanner and have been busy scanning some of Larry's old family pictures. A lot of them aren't very good quality and some are tiny, about 1 2/3 in photo. The ones that aren't blurry enlarge pretty good. As far as I know a blurry picture isn't fixable, but with all the technology out there now, there could be a way to fix them that I don't know about. And of course, there are the good old double exposure pictures too. I remember doing that also. The films didn't roll up in a metal canister like they do now, so sometimes it was hard to tell if the film had been used already :). Anyway, I have been having a good time (mostly) scanning them and labeling them. I should be going through our old photos and marking them probably first. I am just as guilty as a lot of people and don't label my pictures or journal. I sure wish I would have through the years, because I don't remember so many things. Too late now, but that is one thing I wish I would have done. The kids have said "remember when we......", and I don't. That bothers me. They have been my whole life and I don't like that their are things I don't remember.
Well, that's it for now.
